Westfield, Mass. - A total of 855 student-athletes, including 58 from Framingham State University, have been honored by the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) with selection to the league’s Spring 2016 All-Academic Team as announced earlier this week by MASCAC Commissioner Angela Baumann.

Worcester, Mass. - The Worcester State softball team swept the Framingham State University Rams in a Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) doubleheader this afternoon at Rockwood Park. The Lancers won the first game 7-3 and came from behind in the second game for a 9-3 victory.

The Owls came from behind for a 6-3 victory in the opener, before edging the Rams 2-1 in the nightcap.

Dudley, Mass. – Junior Christina Barrows (Carver, Mass.) belted her second home run of the season and drove in two runs as the Nichols College softball team split its non-conference doubleheader with Framingham State University Thursday afternoon at the Nichols Softball Field. The Bison took the opener 9-3, before the Rams rallied for a 7-5 victory in game two.

The Rams took the opener 9-3, before the Mustangs rallied for a 7-6 victory in game two.
