Marsh Named to NFCA All-Region Team
Framingham, Mass.- Framingham State junior third baseman Tiffanie Marsh (Tewksbury, Mass.) has been named to the 2016 National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-New England Region 2nd Team.
Marsh is the program's first member honored by the NFCA since they started publishing the Div. III All-Region teams in 1987.
Marsh, the 2014 Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Rookie of the Year and 2015 MASCAC Player of the Year earned 1st team all-conference honors in 2016.
The junior led the Rams with a .370 batting average and 27 runs scored while collecting 47 hits, 10 doubles, 2 triples, 2 homers and 22 RBI. Marsh is currently in 3rd place on the Rams all-time hit list and trails leader Colleen Clancy (2006-2009) by 19 hits.
