Buzzards Bay, Mass. — A total of 500 student-athletes, including 42 from Framingham State University, have been honored by the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference with selection to the league’s Fall 2011 All-Academic Team as announced by MASCAC Commissioner Angela Baumann.

Westfield, Mass. – Third seed Worcester State advanced to the championship game of the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference women’s volleyball tournament with a hard-earned 3-2 victory (25-16, 19-25, 25-17, 22-25, 15-8) over second seed Framingham State University early Saturday afternoon, Nov. 5 in one semi-final of the 2011 MASCAC women’s volleyball championship.

Volleyball Drops Two with UMass Dartmouth and Western Connecticut

North Dartmouth, Mass. – The Framingham State University volleyball team closed the 2011 regular season with a pair of losses against the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and Western Connecticut State University. The Rams were defeated by the Corsairs and the Colonials by a score of 3-0 and with the pair of losses are now 19-12 on the season.

Framingham, Mass. – The Framingham State University women’s volleyball team defeated St. Joseph’s College of Maine 3-0 this evening in non-conference women’s volleyball action at Framingham’s Athletic Center. The Rams won by scores of 26-24, 25-16, 25-20.

Framingham, Mass. – The Framingham State University women’s volleyball team swept a tri-match this afternoon with Worcester State University and Husson University. The Rams defeated Worcester State 3-1 in a Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) match up in the day’s first game and defeated Husson 3-0 in the final match. Worcester State defeated the Eagles 3-2 in the day’s other match.

Quincy, Mass. – The Framingham State University women’s volleyball team went 1-1 today at a tri-match with WPI and hosted by Eastern Nazarene. The Rams won the day’s first match 3-1 over the hosts and dropped the middle match 3-1 to the Engineers.
