Fernandes Selected MASCAC Volleyball Player of the Week

Framingham, Mass. – Sophomore outside hitter Andressa Fernandes (Framingham, Mass.) has been selected the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) women's volleyball player of the week for the week ending October16^th. 

Fernandes averaged 13.7 kills and 3.7 digs to go along with a .310 attack percentage in a 3-0 week for the Rams.  She picked up 21 kills in a key 3-2 MASCAC victory on the road at Bridgewater State Tuesday night and 10 kills each in wins over Worcester State and Husson University on Saturday.  The Rams are now 16-8 on the year and 4-1 in the conference with one MASCAC match remaining.  Fernandes is leading the MASCAC in kills this season as she is averaging 3.02 kills per set.
