16 Rams Named to 2011 MASCAC Spring All-Academic Team

Buzzards Bay, Mass. — Nearly 330 student-athletes, including 16 student-athletes from Framingham State University, have been honored by the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) with selection to the league’s Spring 2011 All-Academic Team as announced by MASCAC Commissioner Angela Baumann.

Salem, Mass. – Pitcher Lauren DiCredico (Tewksbury, MA) started both ends of a doubleheader and Katelynn Fanning (East Boston, MA) earned a win and a save to help lead the Salem State Lady Vikings to a sweep of conference rival Framingham State by scores of 3-2 and 5-1 at Alumni Field on Tuesday afternoon.

Framingham, Mass. – Today’s softball doubleheader with Newbury College has been postponed. The doubleheader has been rescheduled for Monday, May 2nd, at Framingham’s Farley Field with the first game starting at 3:30 p.m. The Rams return to action tomorrow at 3:30 p.m. with a pair of games against Brandeis. Those game will now be played at Brandeis University.
