Cross Country Competes at ECAC Championship

Framingham, MA- The Framingham State University men's and women's cross country teams competed at the 2014 East Coast Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Championship on Saturday afternoon in Westfield, Mass.

The Rams' top finisher on the men's side was sophomore Dan Stevens (Holliston, Mass.) with a time of 29:29.13. Next in line for the Rams was classmate Richard Wertz (South Easton, Mass.) with a time of 30:03.52.

The next cluster of Rams, juniors Jay Ebersole (Natick, Mass.) & Thomas Rainsord (Holliston, Mass.) crossed with times of 38:55.77 and 40:28.96, respectively. Freshman Johnny Trocchi (Watertown, Mass.) finished with a time of 46:40.46.

On the women's side the Rams were led by freshman Hannah Rogers (Dighton, Mass.) with a 6k time of 27:32.47. Junior Jenna Anan (Littleton, NH) and sophomore Mikaela Ranahan (North Andover, Mass.) crossed the line with times of 27:40.26 and 27:45.75, respectively. Sophmores Kayleigh Laughlin (Gardner, Mass.) and Jilliam Preman (Wilbraham, Mass.) finished in the 28th minute while juniors Rachel Holland (Holliston, Mass.) and Philomen Nessralla (Marshfield, Mass.) crossed in the 31st minute.

The Rams will compete at the NCAA Division III Regional at Williams College on Saturday, November 15th
