Men’s Cross Country Places 7th at Tri-State Invitational

Lincoln, RI- The Framingham State University men's cross country team took 7th place at the Tri-State Invitational Saturday afternoon hosted by the Community College of Rhode Island.
The Rams were led by sophomores Richard Wertz (South Easton, MA/ Oliver Ames) and Dan Stevens (Holliston, MA) who crossed the line with times of 30:22.54 (35th) and 30:30.10 (38th), respectively.
Juniors Jay Ebersole (Natick, MA/ Marian) and Thomas Rainsford (Holliston, MA) finished at 41:03.30 (96th) and 42:24.48 (99th), respectively. Freshman Johnny Trocchi (Watertown, MA) rounded out the Rams scoring at 53:19.21 (103rd).
Framingham State placed seventh as a team with an average time of 39:31.93.
The Rams return to action on Saturday, October 11th at the James Early Invitational hosted by Westfield State University.
