Men’s Cross Country Comes Home 50th at NCAA Division III Regionals

Gorham, Maine – The Framingham State University men's cross country team closed out the 2013 campaign with a 50th-place showing at the NCAA Division III New England Regional which was hosted by Southern Maine on Saturday. The Rams amassed 1,556 points while Williams won the team title with 77 points.

Senior Chris Baza (Milford, Mass.) clocked a 29:38.70 (273rd) in his final collegiate race as freshman Dan Stevens (Holliston, Mass.) crossed the finish line 308th (30:59.69). Rookie Adam Meltzer (Holliston, Mass.) turned in a time of 34:01.37 (348th). The sophomore duo of Kyle Gagin (Winthrop, Mass.) and Thomas Rainsford (Holliston, Mass.) were 361st (37:39.18) and 363rd (39:14.77), respectively, as classmate Patrick Holden (Stoneham, Mass.) followed in 365th (43:53.40).
