Men’s Cross Country Places 10th at Blazer Cross Country Invitational

Chicopee, Mass. - The Framingham State cross country team finished 10th at the Blazer Cross Country Invitational held at the Chicopee Memorial State Park on Saturday. University of New England captured the meet with 23 points as the Rams posted 279 points.

Senior Chris Baza (Milford, Mass.) raced to a 45th place finish (32:05) and was followed by rookie Dan Stevens (Holliston, Mass.) in 49th (32:33). Freshman Adam Meltzer (Holliston, Mass.) clocked a 36:48 for 74th spot while sophomores Thomas Rainsford (Holliston, Mass.) and Kyle Gagin (Winthrop, Mass.) crossed the finish line 83rd (42:12) and 84th (42:13). Newcomer Pat Holden (Stoneham, Mass.) turned in a 48:02 for 91st place.

Framingham State returns to action at the James Earley Invitational hosted by Westfield State on Saturday, October 12.
