Women’s Cross Country Finishes 10th at 2024 James Earley Invitational

Westfield, Mass. - The Framingham State University women's cross country team was back in action this morning and placed tenth at the James Earley Invitational hosted by Westfield State.  

THE BASICS:

- Location: Stanley Park – Westfield State University – Westfield, Mass. 

INSIDE THE NUMBERS: 

  • The Rams as a team finished 10thwith an average time of 21:23 for the 5K course. 

  • Meghan Johnston once again led the Rams as she was top finisher with a time of 20:37 for the 5K course. 

  • Teammate Kate Buban finished just two places behind and a second back at 20:38. 

  • Grace Avery crossed next for the Rams at 20:59, while Natalie Grimaldo crosse at 21:43 and Cassie Toth at 22:57 to round out the top five.

The Rams are back in action next Saturday at Western New England.
