Women's Cross Country Finishes Fifth at University of Hartford Invitational

Hartford, Conn. - The Framingham State University women's cross country team placed fifth at the University of Hartford Invitational this morning which was run at Keney Park.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS: 

• The Rams finished fifth with 122 points and were just four points behind Emerson who claimed the fourth spot with 118 points. 

• Kate Buban was the Rams top finisher as she finished ninth. Buban completed the 3K course with a time 12:02.6 and was just three tenths of a second behind the eighth place finisher. 

• Meghan Johnson secured a top 20 finish as she crossed 20thwith a time of 12:412, while Grace Avery was the third Ram to finish and she came in 28that 13:02. 

• Rounding out the top five for the Rams are Natalie Grimaldo at 13:20 and Cassie Toth at 13:31..
