Volleyball Soars Past Fitchburg State 3-0

Fitchburg, Mass. - The Framingham State University volleyball team soared to a 3-0 victory over Fitchburg State University in Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference action this evening at Parkinson Gym.

- Records:  Framingham State (11-14, 3-3 MASCAC), Fitchburg State (5-17, 1-5 MASCAC)

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

• The Rams defeated the Falcons in straight sets by scores of 25-19, 28-26 and 25-14 to secure the key victory in league action. 

• The Rams were paced on the attack by 17 kills from Natalie Reynolds. Reynolds connected for her 17 kills on 31 attempts committing just two errors for a .484 attack percentage. 

• Sarah Medeiros tallied nine kills with two digs, while Jamie Moniz and Hope Verhoeven added six kills apiece. 

• Anneli DiVirgilio paced the back row effort with a team-best 18 defensive digs to go along with two service aces. 

• Stella Bailey finished the match with 36 set assists and 15 defensive digs. 

• Carly Beaulieu chipped in with 14 digs, while Jamiee Lowe and Madysen Cedrone picked up 12 digs apiece in the match.
