Women’s Track and Field Has Strong Showing at Bonnie Edmondson Classic

Mansfield, Conn. - The Framingham State University women's outdoor track and field team was back in action this afternoon and had a strong day at the Bonnie Endmondson Classic hosted by Eastern Connecticut.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

  • Freshman Jamie Moniz had a solid day for the Rams as she placed second in the javelin with her throw of 32.51m. She also recorded a third place finish in the 400m hurdles with her time of 1:12.26 and a fifth in the high jump at 1.42m. 

  • Nataalie Grimaldo finished second in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:11.94, while Megan McAuliffe finished sixth in the high jump at 1.32m. 

  • Kate Buban placed third in the 5000m run with her time of 20:15.98, while Meghan Johnston finished third in the 1500m run with her time of 5:23.76. 

  • Lydia Marunowski placed fourth in the triple jump with her leap of 9.01m, while the Rams 4x100 relay team finished first and the 4x400 finished second.

The Rams are back in action on Friday at the MASCAC Championship meet hosted by Westfield State.
