Buzzards Bay, MA – Hailey Ring's goal in the first minute of play held up as the difference maker as Framingham State earned a narrow 1-0 victory over Mass. Maritime on Saturday afternoon at Clean Harbors Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
The Rams scored the games lone goal just 53 seconds into the match when Beyonce Gray threaded a lead pass through the defense hitting Ring in stride into the breakaway. Ring was able to settle and sneak a shot past the crashing Bucs keeper inside the right post.
Both teams generated scoring opportunities, with Framingham State recording 11 shots, including seven on goal, while Mass. Maritime matched them with 11 shots but managed only six on target. The defenses held firm for the rest of the game, with neither team able to add to the scoreline.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
Madison Magone recorded six saves to earn the shutout victory, her third win of the season. Reagan Kerecz made six saves in a solid performance despite the loss.
Shots: Both teams recorded 11 shots, with Framingham State placing seven on goal compared to Mass. Maritime's six.
