Framingham, Mass.– Roger Williams senior Rachel Oster registered a first half hat-trick en route to a 7-0 win over Framingham State in the season opener for both squads Friday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

The Hawks got on the board in the second minute when Oster scored her first of the half after collecting a rebound off a saved shot.

A few minutes later Mya D'Antonio scored followed by two more goals by Oster. The Hawks capped the first half with a Gracie Viera tally in the 38th minute.

D'Antonio scored in the 53rdminute and Lauren Yokell scored in the 67th to reach the final margin.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

Coco Marrelli earned the win for the Hawks making three saves in the first half and Bailey Bourque completed the shutout with two saves.

Madison Magone made five saves in her Framingham State debut.

The Hawks held a 17-to-9 advantage in shots while the Rams had three corner kicks and the Hawks had two.
