Guerin Sets New Single Game Points Mark as Women’s Lacrosse Defeats Bridgewater State 24-11

Framingham, Mass. - The Framingham State University women's lacrosse team received a school record 14 points from senior Hannah Guerin as the Rams defeated Bridgewater State 24-11 in Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) action this evening at Maple Street.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

  • Guerin paced the Rams with nine goals and five assists in the game for 14 total points surpassing her own single game mark of 12 that she set during the 2023 season. Guerin's nine goals ties teammate Leah Green's single game goal mark that Green set earlier this season. 

  • Green finished the game with three goals and two assists, while Molly Lanier added five goals. Rachel Erickson chipped in with two goals and an assist, while Regan Fein added two goals and five helpers. 

  • Brandi Core also finished the game with a pair of goals. 

  • After the Bears tallied the first goal of the game, the Rams received two straight from Regan Fein and Hannah Guerin to lead 2-1 just over five minutes into the game. The two teams would trade goals for the remainder of the first and the game was tied 5-5 after one. 

  • The second started with the teams trading goals until the Rams used back-to-back goals from Molly Lanier and Fein to lead 8-6. Bridgewater closed the gap to one, 8-7, with just over 10 to play, but the Rams closed the half with a 7-1 run taking a 15-8 lead at the half. Guerin tallied three goals on the run.  

  • The Rams scored the first three goals of the third including two from Erickson as the lead reached 18-8. The Rams maintained the sizeable lead for the remainder of the contest. 

  • Isabella DiMare earned the victory in net and made five saves, while Brooke La Torra and Laura Giovaniello combined to make nine saves for the Bears. 

  • The Bears received three goals and an assist from Camryn Gonsalves, while Savannah Harrington added three goals.
