Framingham, Mass. - The Framingham State University women's lacrosse recorded their first shutout defeating UMass Boston 19-0 this afternoon in non-conference action at Maple Street.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

  • The Rams jumped out to a 4-0 lead just under five minutes into the game with Molly Lanier finding the back of the net twice. 

  • The Rams extended the lead to 9-0 after one period with Leah Green and Hannah Guerin finding the back of the net twice in the frame. 

  • The Rams added three in the second from Hailey Baker, Green and Brandi Core pushing the lead to 12-0 at the half. The Rams maintained the lead throughout the second half. 

  • Isabella DiMare recorded the first shutout of her career making nine stops in net. 

  • Lanier finished the game with four goals for the Rams, while Rachel Erickson and Green finished the day with four goals and an assist apiece. 

  • Guerin finished the game with two goals and four assists, while Julianna Guzi recorded five helpers in the contest.
