MCLA Skates to 6-1 Win Over Women’s Ice Hockey

Framingham, Mass. - MCLA scored six goals, including a hat trick from Summer Bissaillion, en route to a 6-1 victory over Framingham State in a MASCAC matchup Tuesday evening at Loring Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED: 

1st Period: 

  • 00:16 – MCLA struck first just 16 seconds in, as Summer Bissaillion netted her first goal of the night, assisted by Kiera Grom and Maggie Danchek. 

  • 17:33 – Bissaillion reclaimed the lead for the Trailblazers with her second goal, assisted by Belle Wurmser. 

2nd Period:  

  • 14:01 – Alexandrea Bednar extended the Trailblazers' lead to 3-1 with an unassisted goal. 

  • 14:55 – Bissaillion completed her hat trick with another unassisted goal, giving MCLA a 4-1 advantage. 

3rd Period: 

  • 06:40 – Carlen Bertrand capitalized on a setup from Rozene Sabeti-Seidel to stretch the lead to 5-1. 

  • 19:01 – Katie Pica capped off the scoring with a late unassisted goal, sealing the 6-1 victory for the Trailblazers.
