Schels Named MASCAC Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week

Framingham, Mass. - Forward Jacqueline Schels (Hamburg, NJ) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week for the week ending February 23rd.    

Schels averaged 23 points and eight rebounds in a 1-1 week for the Rams. Schels tallied 31 points and eight boards in the win over Fitchburg State to secure the number two seed in the tournament. Schels had 15 points and eight rebounds in the 76-67 setback to Worcester State.
