Greene Selected NEWBA Rookie of the Week and D3hoops.com Team of the Week

Framingham, Mass. - Forward Faith Greene (Worcester, Mass) has been named the New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA) Rookie of the Week and to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week for the week ending February 2nd.   

Greene earns her first NEWBA and D3hoops.com honors after averaging a double-double of 17 points and 13 rebounds while shooting 64% from the field (14-22) in a 2-0 week for the Rams. Greene tallied 12 points and 10 rebounds in just 17 minutes of action in the victory over Fitchburg State. Greene closed the week with 22 points on 8-of-14 from the floor with 16 rebounds, two steals and a block in the Rams 86-80 victory over Westfield State.
