O'Connor Named NEWBA Rookie of the Week

Framingham, Mass. – Freshman forward Flannery O'Connor (Amesbury, Mass.) has been named the New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA) Rookie of the Week for the week ending December 1^st.

Earlier this week, O'Connor was tabbed as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) women's basketball rookie of the week.

O'Connor earns her first NEWBA honors after registering a double double of 15 points and 11 rebounds in the Rams victory over Lasell College.  O'Connor connected on 6-of-12 from the field and made all three of her free throws.
