Gunarathne Named MASCAC Pitcher & Rookie of the Week

Framingham, Mass. – Freshman pitcher Kelsi Gunarathne (North Providence, RI) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Softball Pitcher & Rookie of the Week for the week ending March 27th. 

Gunarathne earned her third win of the sea­son with a complete game 4-3 win over Lesley University, giving up two earned runs on seven hits with six strikeouts.

The Rams return to action on Tuesday, March 29th when they travel to UMass. Dartmouth for a non-conference double header starting at 3:30 p.m.
