Framingham, Mass. – The Framingham State men's soccer team was defeated in non-conference play Tuesday afternoon by Emerson College by a score of 4-1.
THE BASICS:

HOW IT HAPPENED:
· The Owls got out to a 1-0 lead in the ninth minute when Evan Lee finished off a setup from Aidan Ferguson to put the visitors ahead.
· The Rams answered in the 27th minute when Arthur Santos Da Silva found the back of the net after a pass from Kunphel Sinha.
· The Lions took back the lead when an Emerson player was taken down in the box, setting up a Thomas Pelino penalty kick that was good.
· Evan Lee and Theodore Bushara scored second-half goals for the Lions to reach the final margin.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
· Beckett Hobbs earned the win for Emerson making three saves.
· Joseph Sturzo, Adriel Moreno and Matheus Rodriguez all shared time in net for the Rams.
· Emerson led 17-to-10 on the afternoon in total shots while each side was awarded two corner kicks.

The Rams return to action on Saturday when they host Worcester State at 11:00am. Prior to the contest the Rams will recognize the four seniors playing in their final season: Kunphel Sinha, Karl Hemmingsen, Jeffson Malachie, Cameron Lau.
