Men's Soccer Blanks Eastern Nazarene 1-0

Quincy, Mass. – The Framingham State University men's soccer team hit the road for the first time this season and defeated Eastern Nazarene College 1-0 in non-conference action at Veterans Memorial Field in Quincy.

The Rams even their record at 1-1 on the young season after dropping their opener at home on Thursday afternoon.  The Lions are also 1-1 on the year.

Senior Jeff Braverman (Framingham, Mass.) tallied the game's only goal in the 40th minute.  Braverman headed home a free kick off the football of freshman midfielder Daniel Campos (Framingham, Mass.).

Senior Josh Arno (Natick, Mass.) earned the shutout victory in net for the Rams turning away all three shots on goal that he faced.  The Rams held a 19-7 edge in shots for the game and took seven corner kicks to just one for the Lions.

The Rams are back in action on Tuesday night when they host WPI at 7 p.m.
