Men’s Soccer Lands Four on All- Conference Teams

Westfield, Mass- The Framingham State University men's soccer team has placed four student-athletes on the 2014 Massachusetts Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) All-Conference Teams, three first team nods and one second team.

Seniors Bryan DaSilva (Milford, Mass) and Nick Cotter (Sandwich, Mass) as well as junior Cory Cardeiro (Fall River, Mass) have been named to the MASCAC All-Conference first team. Freshman Suhairo Kate (Lowll, Mass) was honored on the second team.

Cardeiro was the Rams leading scorer with eight goals and three assists in 19 games as a starter.

DaSilva scored 3 goals and assisted on two other while seeing action in 14 games during his senior campaign. Cotter, also a senior scored one goal and was credited with one assist in 16 games as a back.

Freshman Suhairo Kato scored three goals and had two assists playing in all 19 games during his first year with the Rams.

Framingham State finished the season with an overall record of 5-12-2 and a 3-3-1 mark in the MASCAC. The Rams were the #4 seed in the MASCAC tournament falling to MCLA in the quarter-final round.
