Cardeiro selected as MASCAC Co-Player of the Week
Westfield, MA- Framingham State University junior Cory Cardeiro (Fall River, MA/ BMC Durfee) has been selected Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Soccer Co-player of the Week for the week ending November 2nd.
Cardeiro scored two goals, including the game-winner in overtime in a 2-1 victory over Westfield State on Saturday afternoon. Cory leads the Rams in scoring with 8 goals & 3 assists for 19 points on the season.
With the victory on Saturday the Rams locked up the #4 seed in the MASCAC Tournament and will host MCLA on Tuesday, November 3rd in the first-round at 4:00 p.m.
