Malta Selected ECAC Men’s Soccer Co-Offensive Player of the Week
Framingham, Mass. – Framingham State University junior midfielder Maycon Malta (Milford, Mass.) has been selected the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III New England Men's Soccer Co-Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending November 3rd. Malta shares player of the week honors with MIT's Sean Bingham.
After a 2-0 week for the Rams last week, Malta was named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's soccer Player of the Week after he netted three goals and an assist including tallying the game winner in the closing minutes against Clark University on Wednesday afternoon. He concluded the week with a pair of goals and an assist in the Rams win over Westfield State University that helped secure the second seed in the upcoming MASCAC Men's Soccer Championship Tournament.
