Silva Selected MASCAC Men’s Soccer Player of the Week

Framingham, Mass. - Junior forward Jason Silva (Northbridge, Mass.) was selected the Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Soccer Player of the week for the week ending October 11^th.  This is Silva's first player of the week honors in 2009.

Silva collected a natural hat trick for the Rams as they defeated Salem State 5-0 on Saturday to remaining in a tie for second in MASCAC men's Soccer standings.  Silva, who was a First Team All-MASCAC selection in 2007 and 2008, leads the defending MASCAC champions with six goals and three assists for 15 points.
