Framingham State Athleties Selected to the 2007 Fall All-MASCAC Teams

Framingham, MA - The Framingham State College Athletic Department is pleased to announce that twelve student-athletes have been selected to the fall 2007 All-MASCAC Teams.  The Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference (MASCAC) All-Conference teams are voted upon by the conference head coaches in the respective sports.

First Team All-MASCAC selections include: Johnny Goncalves (Men's Soccer), Erin Johnson (Field Hockey), Jill Johnson (Women's Soccer), Liz Pedro (Volleyball), Stephen Rosenthal (Men's Soccer), Kristen Sacco (Field Hockey), and Jason Silva (Men's Soccer).

Second Team All-MASCAC selections include: Allison Appleman (Volleyball), Kali Barrett (Field Hockey), Andrea DiTerlizzi (Field Hockey), Scott Faria (Men's Soccer), Jade Franzen (Field Hockey), and Eddie Palomba (Men's Soccer)

The Framingham State College men's soccer team and field hockey team each won the MASCAC Regular Season Title in their sport and placed five student athletes on the All-MASCAC Team.   Fifth year head men's soccer coach Dean Nichols was chosen as the MASCAC Men's Soccer Coach of the Year as he guided the Rams to their best season to date and a #2 seed in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) New England Men's Soccer Tournament.  Freshman midfielder Jason Silva was selected as the MASCAC men's soccer 2007 Rookie of the Year.
