Silva Named to All-New England Third Team & D3Kicks.com New Region Mens' Soccer Second Team

Framingham, MA - The Framingham State College Athletic Department is pleased to announce that freshman midfielder Jason Silva of Milford, MA has been selected to the D3Kicks.com Men's Soccer New England Region Second Team and has been named to the 2007 NSCAA Men's Division III All-New England Region Third Team. 

Silva had an outstanding rookie season for the Rams, who captured their first Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Regular Season Championship and earned the second seed in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) New England Men's Soccer Championship Tournament.  Silva, who was selected First Team All-Conference as well as the MASCAC Men's Soccer Rookie of the Year, was second on his team and in the conference in goals and points as he collected 13 goals and six assists for 32 points in his first collegiate season.
