SUNY Canton Completes Sweep of Men’s Ice Hockey

Canton, NY – The SUNY Canton men's ice hockey team held off a late third period comeback to complete the two-game sweep of Framingham State with a 4-2-win Saturday afternoon.  

THE BASICS:

HOW IT HAPPENED: 

1st Period: 

  • 06:30: Canton – Reilly McKinnon opened the scoring, assisted by Michael Palandra and Brendan Morrow. 

  • 13:07: Canton – Brendan Morrow scored a power-play goal, assisted by Colton Sipperley and Scott Cremen. 

2nd Period: 

  • No goals scored. 

3rd Period:

  • 03:24: Framingham State – Jake Barcelou tied the game with an unassisted goal. 

  • 05:18: Canton – Jordyn Mughal reclaimed the lead, assisted by Trystan Mughal and Hayden Bullock. 

  • 18:05: Canton – Nolan Zotter secured the win with an empty-net goal, assisted by Brayden Fryfogle and Scott Cremen.
