Hockey Falls to Nichols to Close Binghamton Devils Tournament

Binghamton, NY. – The Nichols college ice hockey team scored 9 goals by 8 different scorers en route to a 9-0 win over Framingham State Sunday afternoon at the Binghamton Devils Thanksgiving Tournament. The Bison improve to 5-3-2 on the year as the Rams fall to 2-6-2.

Special teams haunted the Rams again as they gave up five power play goals and a shorthanded score as they were 0-for-6 on the man advantage.

Hogan Davidson finished with two scores for Nichols as TJ Roche, Adam Morrison and Evan Schwartz each scored a goal and assisted on two others. Ben Campbell registered a goal and an assist while Luke Andracki, Zachary Palmer and Vincent Crivello all scored goals in the win for Nichols.

The Rams took 16 shots on the day that were all saved by Henry Burns. Adam Calabrese (Philadelphia, PA) made 33 saves on the day for Framingham State.

The Rams return to action Thursday, November 30th when they host Plymouth State in MASCAC action at Loring Arena.
