Men's Basketball Downs Salem State 90-79

Salem, Mass. - The Framingham State University men's basketball team picked up their second straight league victory as they defeated Salem State University 90-70 this evening in Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) action at Twohig Gymnasium.

-Records: Framingham State (8-8, 2-1 MASCAC), Salem State (4-10, 1-1 MASCAC)

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

  • The Rams were led by 26 points from Kyle Philistin. Philistin connected on 11-of-17 from the field and added 10 rebounds and four assists in the victory. 

  • Joshua Saint Jean also chipped in with a double double. Saint Jean tallied 21 points on 9-of-19 from the field and added 10 rebounds, four assists and two steals. 

  • Marshall Kerley was the third Ram in double figures as he tallied 12 points on 4-of-8 from behind the arc. Kerley added six rebounds in the game. 

  • Ja'Quin Taylor added seven points off the bench, while Adonis Vashon and JD Okafor also tallied seven points apiece. 

  • The Rams shot 49% from the floor in the game and 40% from behind the arc.
