Medford, Mass. – Suffolk University men's basketball team used an 18-4 run to close the first half to build a lead that they would not relinquish as they defeated the Framingham State University Rams 67-33 this afternoon in non-conference action at Cousens Gymnasium.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- Framingham State was led by 15 points from junior Cameren McCloud-Thomas. McCloud-Thomas connected on 6-of-9 from the floor and added seven rebounds, an assist and three blocks.
- Senior Tyri Hampton added six points and three rebounds, while sophomore Jared Gordon-Anderson chipped in with six boards, all on the defensive end.
- Suffolk was led by 11 points from Nate Hale, while Thomas Duffy and Jonathan Eng chipped in with eight points apiece. Brendan Mulson added seven points.
- Suffolk connected on 38% of their offerings including 10-of-23 from behind the arc, while Framingham State shot 36% from the floor and did not connect on any of their seven three point attempts.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Framingham State led 14-13 in the first half after layup from Nicholas Ruby, but Suffolk would close the opening stanza with an 18-4 run taking a 31-18 lead at the half.
- Suffolk opened the second half with an 11-2 run extending the lead to 20 and never looked back as they secured the non-conference victory in the battle of the Rams.
