Field Hockey Sweeps MASCAC Weekly Awards

Framingham, Mass.- The trio of Angelina Serra (North Chelmsford, Mass.), Marina Cadena (Wareham, Mass.) and Finley Hogan (Auburn, Mass.) have the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Field Hockey Weekly awards for the week ending October 28th. 

Serra earned Offensive Player of the Week honors after netting two goals in a 2-1 week for the Rams, including the game-winning goal in the 3-2 win over WestConn and game-tying goal in the 3-2 overtime win against Bridgewater State. 

Cadena was tabbed Defensive Player of the Week after recording five defensive saves in a 2-1 week for the Rams, including three in the 5-1 setback to Plymouth State and one the 3-2 win over WestConn and adding another in the 3-2 win over Bridgewater State. 

Hogan earns Rookie of the Week after tallying two goals for four points in a 2-1 week for the Rams. She netted the game-tying goal in the 3-2 win over WestConn and scored the lone goal in the 5-1 setback to Plymouth State.
