Baseball Blanks Curry 8-0
Milton, Mass. - The Framingham State University baseball team hit a pair of home runs as the Rams shutout Curry 8-0 this afternoon non-conference action at Valley Diamond.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

The Rams got on the board in the top of the first inning on a two-run homer to left by Kennedy Wilson.

The Rams added four more in the top of the third pushing the lead to 6-0. Lucas Basile crossed the plate first scoring on a wild pitch and Jacob Buontempo followed with a two run double to right. Joseph Fasolino capped the inning with an RBI single to center.

Fasolino added a solo home run to center in the sixth and a Cam Gilroy sacrifice fly capped the Rams scoring in the top of the eighth.

Vincent LoGuidice earned the win on the mound going seven shutout innings allowing just eight hits with a strikeout.

Teaghin Andre tossed an inning and a third of scoreless relief allowing just one hit with three strikeouts, while Ryan Morry picked up the final two outs of the game via strikeouts.

Ryan Boyle finished the game 4-for-5 at the plate with a double and two runs scored, while Fasolino finished the game 3-for-4 with a run scored, two RBI, a double and a homer.
