Chamberlain Chosen as ECAC New England Co-Rookie of the Week

Framingham, MA- Framingham State University freshman Haley Chamberlain (Charlton, MA/Shepherd Hill) has been selected as the East Coast Athletic Conference (ECAC) New England Division III Women's Cross Country Co-Rookie of the Week for the week ending October 5^th.

Earlier this week Chamerlain was named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Runner and Rookie of the Week. Chamberlain finished first in a field of 72 runners leading the Rams to a 4^th place team finish at the Tri-State Invitational Saturday afternoon hosted by the Community College of Rhode Island. Chamberlain won the race with a time of 20:02.97, just over two seconds ahead of the second place finisher.

Framingham State placed fourth as a team with an average time of 21:42.21. The Rams return to action on Saturday, October 11^th at the James Early Invitational hosted by Westfield State University.
