Cross Country Competes at Elms College Invitational
Chicopee, MA --- The Framingham State University men's and women's cross country teams competed at the Elm's College Invitational Cross-Country Race on Saturday afternoon in Chicopee, Mass.
The Rams top finisher was junior Morgan Zabinski (Rehoboth, MA / Dighton-Rehoboth) finishing 45th overall with a time of 31:27. Quickly following Zabinski was sophomore Kayleigh Laughlin (Gardner, MA) coming in at 31:41 just two spots her teammate.
Sophmore Jillian Preman (Wilbraham, MA / Minnechaug Regional) was the next Ram to cross the line at 32:10 (53rd). Just a few minutes later is junior Rachel Holland (Holliston, MA / Norfolk County Agricultural) broke the tape at 34:21 (69th) and a second later classmate Philomena Nessralla (Marshfield, MA) finished in 70th place.
On the men's side junior Thomas Rainsford (Holliston, MA) crossed the line at 45:25 (88th) and teammate freshman Johnny Trocchi (Watertown, MA) completed the course after 56:33 (95th).
The Rams return to the course on Saturday, October 4th at the Tri-State Invitational at The Community College of Rhode Island.
