Stevens is Rams Top Finisher at UMass- Dartmouth Invitational

 

Dartmouth, Mass. – Sophmore Dan Stevens (Holliston, MA) finished with the best time for Framingham State University's men's cross country team on Saturday afternoon at the UMass- Dartmouth Invitational. The Rams finished 31st as a team with a total time of 2:52:21.7.

Franklin Pierce was the tournament champion with a total time of 2:06:51.5. Steven's time of 29:26.3 was good for 183rd in the race. Classmate Richard Wertz (South Easton, MA/ Oliver Ames) followed Stevens in 195th place with a time of 29:47.0.

Freshman Doug Perkins (Newton, MA/ Newton North), junior Jay Ebersole (Natick, MA/ Marian) and junior Thomas Rainsford (Holliston, MA) finished with times of 33:13.7, 38:59.6 & 40:56.4, respectively.

The Rams will return to action Saturday, September 27th at the Elms College Blazers Classic.
