Men’s Cross Country 46th at ECAC Division III Championships

Bristol, R.I. – The Framingham State University men's cross country team posted a 46th-place finish at the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Championships hosted by Roger Williams on Saturday at Colt State Park. Williams captured the team crown with 26 ponts as the Rams accounted for 1,333.

Senior Chris Baza (Milford, Mass.) paced the five-man Framingham State lineup with a 231st time of 30:37.83. Freshman Dan Stevens (Holliston, Mass.) turned in a 31:09.34 for 252nd place and classmate Adam Meltzer (Holliston, Mass.) was 296th (33:24.24). Sophomores Thomas Rainsford (Holliston, Mass.) and Kyle Gagin (Winthrop, Mass.) were three runners apart as they crossed the finish line 323rd (37:43.91) and 326th (39:06.40), respectively.

Framingham State heads to Southern Maine, for the second time in three weeks, to participate in the NCAA Division III New England Regionals on Saturday in Gorham, Maine.
