Cross Country Races at Plansky Invite

Williamstown, Mass. – The Framingham State men's cross country was fourth at the Plansky Invite hosted by Williams on Saturday. The host Ephs won the 5K coed event with 15 points while the Rams picked up 98 points.

Senior Chris Baza (Milford, Mass.) and freshman Dan Stevens (Holliston, Mass.) clocked in under 20 minutes as Baza was 15th (19:24) among all point scorers and Stevens was two runners behind in 17th (19:47). Rookie Adam Meltzer (Holliston, Mass.) cracked the top 20 with a 19th-place 21:09.

Sophomores Kyle Gagin (Winthrop, Mass.), Thomas Rainsford (Holliston, Mass.) and Patrick Holden (Stoneham, Mass.) crossed the finish line 23rd, 24th and 25th with times of 24:22, 26:06 and 26:24, respectively.

Freshman Kayleigh Laughlin (Gardner, Mass.) was the lone member of the women's team to participate on Saturday and finished 122nd overall – including non-point scorers and alumni – with a 26:44.
