Men's Cross Country Competes at James Earley Invitational

Westfield, MA - Trinity College ran away with the team title with 27 points in the 21-team meet, placing seven runners in the top 11 at the 13th Annual James Earley Invitational held on a beautiful day, Saturday, Oct. 11, at Stanley Park in Westfield.

Vassar placed second with 75 points, followed by Gordon (142), Coast Guard (147), and Westfield (172).

Closely trailing the Owls were conference foes UMass Dartmouth (178), Bridgewater State (179), and Mass. Maritime (212).

Bridgewater standout Avery Bouchard placed first in 25:48.1. Phil Gingras was Westfield's top finisher (24th), followed by Patrick Regan (26th), John Connolly (38th), Chris Mantos (39th), Jon Joyce (45).

Framingham State's top finisher was freshman Drew Duquette (Holyoke, MA) who set a personal record with a time of 30:40.
