Volleyball Falls in Straight Sets at Trinity

Hartford, Conn. - The Framingham State University volleyball team played their final non-league match of the season and were defeated 3-0 by Trinity College in a non-conference contest at the Oosting Gymnasium.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS 

  • The Rams fell to the Bantums in straight sets by scores of 25-11, 25-19 and 25-14. 

  • The Rams were led by five kills and five digs with an ace from Anna Szymanski, while Kate Petrosso chipped in with four kills and four digs. 

  • Malia Shields added seven digs and three aces, while Stella Bailey recorded nine set assists. 

  • The Bantams received 10 kills and eight digs from Lola Craig, while Grace Sullivan added 14 sets assists.

The Rams close out the regular season on Saturday when they travel to Worcester State for a MASCAC clash at noon.
