Thomas and Sullivan Selected MASCAC Volleyball Player and Rookie of the Week

Framingham, Mass. – Senior outside hitter Brandee Thomas (North Kingstown, RI) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Volleyball Player of the Week and freshman outside hitter Valerie Sullivan (Buffalo, N.Y.) has been selected the MASCAC Rookie of the Week for the week ending October 25th.

Thomas averaged 9.5 kills and 12.3 digs pre match with two blocks and eight assists in a 3-1 week for the Rams. Thomas tallied 13 kills, eight digs and two blocks with a .314 hitting percentage in a key MASCAC victory over Bridgewater State.  She also tallied 11 kills in a win over Dean and eight with 21 digs in a loss to Conn. College.

Sullivan earns her second rookie of the week honor after averaging 11.3 kills per match with a .208 hitting percentage. She tallied 10 kills in the victory over Bridgewater State and added 15 with a .571 hitting percentage in a win over Dean.
