Thomas Tabbed as MASCAC Volleyball Rookie of the Week

Framingham, Mass. – Freshman outside hitter Brandee Thomas (North Kingstown, RI) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Volleyball Rookie of the Week for the week ending September 16^th.        

Thomas earns her third straight Rookie of the Week honor after averaging 12.8 kills with a .281 hitting percentage during a 1-2 week for the Rams.  Thomas tallied 17 kills and two digs with a .556 hitting percentage in the Rams MASCAC victory over MCLA an also recorded 17 kills with a .455 hitting percentage in a five set victory over Western New England.  She closed the week with 12 kills and two digs in a 3-1 setback to Rhode Island College.
