Thomas Repeats as MASCAC Volleyball Rookie of the Week

Framingham, Mass. – Freshman outside hitter Brandee Thomas (North Kingstown, RI) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Volleyball Rookie of the Week for the week ending September 9^th.        

Thomas earns her second straight Rookie of the Week honor after averaging 11 kills and 5.7 digs with a .202 hitting percentage during a 2-1 week for the Rams at the Eastern Nazarene Invitational. Thomas earned All-Tournament honors after recording 12 kills with a .357 hitting percentage in a 3-0 victory over Nichols. She added nine kills in the Rams win over Regis and closed the tournament with a double double of 12 kills and 16 digs in a five set loss to Eastern Nazarene.
