Rodriguez Named MASCAC Volleyball Rookie of the Week

Framingham, Mass. – Freshman middle hitter Brandey Rodriguez (Lawrence, Mass.) has been named the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Volleyball Rookie of the Week for the week ending October 2^nd.           

Rodriguez earns her first rookie of the week honor after averaging 7.8 kills with seven blocks, six digs and two assists in a 2-2 week for the Rams.  She tallied nine kills, three digs and five solo blocks in a 3-0 loss to MASCAC rival Salem State.  She closed the week with 11 kills and two digs in a 3-1 victory over UMass Dartmouth and added five kills and two blocks in a five set victory over Lasell.
