Milton, Mass. – The Framingham State University volleyball team swept Curry College 3-0 this evening in non-conference action at Katz Gymnasium. The Rams were victorious by scores of 25-17, 26-24 and 25-13.
With the win, the Rams improve to 19-10 on the year, while the Colonels fall to 10-13.
The Rams were paced by double double efforts from senior Alycia Rackliffe (Feeding Hills, Mass.) and junior Sarah Leonard (Southborough, Mass.). Rackliffe recorded 21 kills with a .372 hitting percentage and added 12 digs and five blocks. Leonard compiled 10 kills and a team-high 14 digs.
Junior Vicki Anderson (Attleboro, Mass.) added 13 digs, while sophomore Mackenzie Whalen (Norton, Mass.) chipped in with 11 and 28 set assists.
The Rams close out the regular season on Saturday at Worcester State at 11 a.m.
