Rackliffe Named ECAC Division III New England Volleyball Player of the Week
Framingham, Mass. – Sophomore middle hitter Alycia Rackliffe (Feeding Hills, Mass.) has been named the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III New England Volleyball Player of the Week for the week of October 20th.
Rackliffe, who earned Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Player of the Week honors earlier this week, averaged 16.3 kills, two assists, 4.7 aces, 3.3 digs and 5.3 blocks in a 3-0 week that included a key pair of conference victories. Rackliffe amassed 23 kills with four blocks and three aces in a 3-1 victory over Worcester State and totaled eight kills, five digs and eight blocks in a 3-0 triumph over Bridgewater State. She closed the week with an 18 kill, seven ace, four assist and four block performance in a five set non-conference win over WPI. She averaged 4.08 kills and 1.33 blocks per set in the three matches with a .320 hitting percentage.
