Framingham, Mass. – Framingham State University head volleyball coach Dick Casali reached the 200 win plateau for his career as the volleyball team defeated Suffolk University 3-0 this evening in non-conference action at the Athletic Center.  Framingham State is now 14-7 on the year, while Suffolk falls to 6-13.

Casali has been the most successful Framingham State University volleyball coach to date.  He has been at the helm of the program for 11 seasons with an overall record of 200-137.  Casali's teams have won a MASCAC Regular Season and Tournament Title, made an appearance in the NCAA Volleyball Championships and received three bids to the ECAC Tournament.  He is just the second coach of any program to reach 200 victories with the Rams.

Sophomore Alycia Rackliffe (Feeding Hills, Mass.) led Framingham State with 15 kills on 23 attacks with just two errors for a .565 hitting percentage.  Classmate Julia Wan (South Deerfield, Mass.) also reached double figures in kills and digs with 12 and 11.  Junior Danielle Girard (Tivoli, NY) just missed a double double with nine kills and 10 digs.

Suffolk was led by five kills and seven digs from freshman Krista Iacobucci (Rocky Hill, CT), while junior Yabriela Perez (Dorchester, Mass.) notched four kills and a match-best 15 digs.  Glamarys Sierra (Carolina, Puerto Rico) had a solid game with 10 set assists for the visitors.

The Rams are back in action on Saturday with a non-conference tri-match at Western Connecticut with Keene State beginning at 2 p.m., while Suffolk is at Anna Maria on Saturday afternoon for a conference tri-match with Eastern Nazarene beginning at 11 a.m.
